The Event Teacher Recruitment Day (TRD) is an annual recruiting event sponsored by the Consortium of Northern Indiana Colleges (CONIC). Recruiters will have the opportunity to formally interview and informally talk with graduating teacher candidates about employment for existing and/or anticipated job openings.
Interviews are scheduled prior to the event by the CONIC team in accordance with the information provided on your Registration Form. You may choose to have more than one interview schedule. Resume CDs will be distributed after the event.
The School/Employer Registration deadline is Friday, March 2, 2012. Space is limited. Requests to participate (after the deadline) will be accepted if space is available.
The CandidatesWe expect more than 120 of the finest senior education students from Grace College, Huntington University, Indiana Wesleyan University, Manchester College, Taylor University (Upland), and the University of Saint Francis to attend. Our students have received strong liberal arts education, have demonstrated a committment to high ethical standards, gained practical work experience, and participated in many campus and volunteer activities to develop leadership skills. Many students have training in diversity plus multicultural and travel experiences.
How to ParticipateEmployers, register your school by completing the Registration Form and returning it via mail or fax before the Friday, March 2, 2012 deadline. If you attempt to register after the deadline, we cannot guarantee that space will be available.
